Gemma Lynam ACA FCCA

Gemma is a Chartered Accountant with over 14 year’s professional experience.  She worked at a small practice in Birmingham, then she moved to KPMG (one of the world leading "Big 4" accountancy firms) spending 10 years there: specialising firstly in Corporate Tax, then 4 years in Tax Investigations and finally 3 years as a specialist Forensic Accountant, working across the UK.

Gemma specialises in uncovering information to support clients’ positions, explaining accountancy issues to HMRC, and in project managing long running and complex cases to speedier and more cost efficient outcomes.  Gemma is frequently commended by clients for her excellent client care and her friendly and sympathetic approach.

She is a member of the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales) and a Fellow of the ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants).

Gemma has vast experience handling  HMRC Code of Practice 9 (Cases of Suspected Serious Tax Fraud),  Civil Investigation of Fraud, Specialist Investigation unit, investigations as well as extensive practical successes in handling Tax Amnesty cases.  She has managed a significant percentage of all the cases currently being handled by HMRC under the Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility.
