Andrew Nutbrown

Before joining forces with Lynam Tax Enquiry Experts in 2012, Andrew had spent 17 years at Deloitte and then PwC  as a Director in their Tax Dispute Resolution Networks.  And before that he spent 10 years with the Inland Revenue, including as a Group Leader at HMRC's elite Fraud Investigation Service.

Having built and led the PwC team in the Midlands, Yorkshireman Andrew then spent 3 years in London, giving him even wider knowledge and expertise.  Andrew is based in Mayfair, in the heart of London.  Prior to joining the profession in 1995, Andrew was a Group Leader in HMRC's Special Compliance Office (now Fraud Investigation Service), dealing with numerous large and complex cases involving Civil Investigation of Tax Fraud – Code of Practice 9 (now the Contractual Disclosure Facility) and Tax Avoidance (Code of Practice 8). He has been involved full time in tax enquiry work since 1986.

Andrew is a well-known personality in the tax community, regularly contributing to the professional press and presenting at tax investigation seminars; as well as being called upon for radio comments.  He is an expert in tax dispute resolution at all levels, combining a practical and pragmatic approach with years of deep technical tax expertise and experience.
