Taxman nets £300k average Offshore Tax Disclosure

The Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility is producing an average of £300,000 per disclosure according to Accountancy Age.

HMRC revealed they have had accepted 475 disclosures by 31 March 2011, raising £140m or about £294,000 per person.

1,351 people had registered by 31 March this year, but have yet to make their disclosures.
The Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility (LDF) is the “secret” tax amnesty.  It has very favourable terms.  Crucially there is no actual requirement to already have a bank account in Liechtenstein.
