It seems highly likely that the UK taxman will soon get access to secret Swiss bank accounts; in a similar way to the recent Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility deal.

Swiss finance minister Hans-Rudolf Merz and UK Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne are meeting to sign a declaration to begin talks on tax issues.  The agreement is likely to include the issue of British citizens holding secret bank accounts in Switzerland.
